Why did you become a PACE Member:
We were interested in how the genesis of the association arose out of the outbound call center area, a key focus of ours. We are also impressed by the caliber of other industry colleagues involved in PACE such as Michele Shuster.
What do you see as the biggest challenge facing our industry today?
One of the biggest challenges facing call centers today is the rising risk of legitimate business (with legitimate reasons and consent to reach out to customers and prospective customers) are being met with the challenge of increasing levels of call flagging/blocking. There are numerous contributing factors including increasing regulations, carrier actions, and other third party technology.
As a result, outbound call centers need to be taking a multi-pronged approach to combat the risk of call flagging/blocking and making sure their dialer provider is responding to the current environment and ready for regulations like STIR/SHAKEN.
